Graf #16
That certainly was a lot of complaining classification models. I didn’t know so many papers would be taken in a negative direction. I would have suspected that it would be easier to find something enjoyable to write about and classify into groups. But at the same time I can also see it from the other perspective. I imagine working on something that is one of your pet-peeves can bring out just as much motivation and depth to a topic as something that you enjoy or are fond of. Now that wasn’t everybody that I read from. There was one last one that stood out to me after I had finished reading them top to bottom. That was Will’s paper. He chose something positive to write about, one of his hobbies, and it had a much more uplifting tone to it. Now I’m not discrediting the quality of the other essays, I just felt that there was an odd assortment of essays in general.

An odd assortment indeed--and who do you think assorted them???
ReplyDelete;)
Thing is, bad news--complaints and negativity--is usually easier and more fun to write about than good news. Check the paper this morning and you will see that the bad/good ratio is about 99/1.
