Contrast Intro

Farm employees don’t tend to last long.  They’ll work for a few months or a year and then move along.  Just the nature of things in Aroostook County, nothing we could change.  That being the nature of things, there have always been many new faces around the farm, and lots to get to know about each and every one of them.  There was and still is a wide variety of folks working in our shipping room and offices.  Some good and some bad.  From diligent organizers, to big talkers, to closet sexists, quite a wide variety indeed.  Most of them worked hard, filling packages, cleaning up, checking what they could be doing next.  But there were always a few of them that didn’t really want to be there. Some that just made you ask “Why did you even fill out the job application?”

  1. This is fine, but it reads like an intro to a classification essay talking about different types of farmworkers--or are you just going to contrast hard workers and goof-offs? That isn't clear yet.
