Classification Outro

It doesn’t always matter what option you go with.  We’re all human here, and we’re all more than likely going to cheat on that good food with its greasy nemesis one time or another.  That just can’t be helped.  What can be helped is you’re decision on a larger scale, your choice to make and eat a better grade of food, far better than that of a fast food joint.  So what are your options?  Go out and look!  There are numerous different ways to combine good food into fast and available forms that you can take with you on the go.  You just have to pick what moves you.  Now the information is in your hands, and it’s up to you to decide what to try and cook up, and what to leave on the dollar menu.

  1. I'm just reading these in whatever order they turn up on my computer this morning, so I don't have the intro in mind as I read this. But just as outro, it doesn't work--most material cast as advice to some imaginary 'you' is not going to work. It's a shortcut but a dead end shortcut. Your job as an essayist is to analyze, describe, amuse, interest--but it almost never is to offer the reader advice.
